Thupparivaalan is a Tamil action, spy, thriller film written and directed by Mysskin. The film is produced by Vishal, who also stars in the lead role. Vinay, Prasanna, Rakul Preet Singh and K. Bhagyaraj also play prominent roles.
The project was launched in March 2016. Vishal plays a private detective named Kaniyan in the movie Thupparivaalan and Prasanna plays his friend. The movie’s director Mysskin says that Vishal and Prasanna’s characters are based on Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
