Chiyaan Vikram has always been an actor, close to perfection. Be it action, or romance, he has always excelled on what he does. His recent release Sketch was a mass masala entertainer, with Nayanthara pairing opposite to him. While he is part of a number of rumoured projects, the actor is all set to join his next project. Chiyaan’s next project is a high octane action entertainer, to be directed by Rajesh M Selva. The mass masala action entertainer is going to be produced by Kamal Haasan’s ‘Raaj Kamal Films International’. Though we don’t have much information about the project, it is learnt that the movie would have some big names on board. Rumoured to have Tamil – Telugu stars appearing in it, makers haven’t given much notes on it. However, we are finally getting a picture on the movie now.
The project was announced by none other than Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, when he tweeted about it, earlier this year. At the time, he maintained that the movie would have Vikram and Akshara Haasan on the board. However, it didn’t mention about Akshara doing the heroine role opposite to Vikram. Now, we have some credible sources reporting of the same. It would be really interesting to see the ‘Vivegam’ actress enacting the role of love interest to Chiyaan Vikram. While Telugu actor Nithin too was expected to be part of this untitled flick, he later opted out of it. Soon then Vikram shared his first look poster of the movie on his Instagram account.
Makers hint that an official confirmation would soon be made regarding the project. It was with Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoongavanam’, which Rajesh M Selva made his directorial debut. The movie is all set to enter into the pre production process sooner or later this year itself. Meanwhile, Vikram has got two projects on cards – Dhruva Natchathiram and ‘Saamy 2’. On the other hand, Akshara would complete her assignments with upcoming web series.
