Vijay Devarakonda has entered the big league, upon the successes of ‘Pellichoopulu’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’. The actor is quite busy these days with a handful of projects. While he was contacted by a number of big production houses, it is with ‘GA2’ films and ‘UV Creations’, which the actor has teamed up. Right now, the actor is part of two projects form the above mentioned production houses – ‘Taxiwaala‘and the Parasuram directorial. ‘Taxiwaala’ is gearing up for release this summer. Though the makers are yet to announce the title of the Parasuram directorial, it is been widely rumoured that the project would be titled ‘Geetha Govindam’. Earlier this year, it was reported that the shooting of the movie was nearing completion. However, the case is a bit different with this Parasuram directorial. It seems like producer isn’t quite happy with the way the movie is progressing.
Reportedly, Allu Aravind has had a difference in opinion with director Parasuram. The ace producer has asked director to change couple of sequences in the movie. Going with the reports, some sequences involving Vijay Devarakonda weren’t up to the expectation level of Allu Aravind. The veteran producer has suggested the director reshooting the portions. While, we don’t have an access to the opinion of director Parasuram, it is learnt that he has decided going according to the wishes of Allu Aravind. It is been reported that the director was convinced with the idea, put forwarded by the veteran producer. The team of this yet to be titled project, is busy reshooting the portions, which were pointed out by Allu Aravind.
Touted to be a family entertainer, the movie, according to the insider reports, would feature Vijay Devarakonda in an entirely new avatar. Team of the movie is riding high on confidence that the movie would find an appeal amongst the family audience. It is Rashmika Mandanna, who is pairing opposite to Vijay Devarakonda in this Parasuram directorial. During the initial stages of discussion, the movie had actress Lavanya Tripathi on the board. However, following some creative indifferences, the actress had opted out, following which Rashmika walked in.
