Andhra Pradesh State Council For Child Welfare has filed POCSO against Bhanupriya over the charges of abusing a minor girl servant. Earlier, the case against Bhanupriya was filed by a lady named Prabhavati, who hails from East Godavari. She cited that Bhanupriya has abused her fourteen year old daughter, with including charges of underpayment. The complaint further stated that Bhanupriya recruited her daughter through an agent and offered to give INR 10,000 as salary.
Working in Bhanupriya’s residence in Chennai, the girl, according to the complaint, wasn’t paid the salary for the past one year; she was also reportedly, denied of contacting her family during the time. Prabhavati maintained that it was over receiving an anonymous message stating that Bhanupriya’s brother had sexually abused her daughter, which she rushed to her daughter. Bhanupriya remained unavailable for making a comment.
