Megastar Mammootty has released the first look of Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Edakkad Battalion 06’. The first look featured Tovino appearing in a mass avatar, with the star standing besides a motorcycle. It is learnt that, the star would be appearing in the role of an army official, with plenty of action sequences in the offering. Ladak was the prime shooting location of ‘Edakkad Battalion 06’, which is being directed by debutant Swapnesh K Nair.
Earlier, Tovino had met with an accident, while shooting for a dangerous sequence. Despite the injury, the actor continued shooting for the movie, turning down the offers from the director to use dupe. Samyuktha Menon appears opposite to Tovino in this project, while Dr. Shrikanth Bhasi, Thomas Joseph Pattathanam and Jayant Mammen have jointly produced the movie under the banner of ‘Ruby Films’.
