Prithviraj is someone, who has carved out a niche for himself out from a market dominated by the two big M’s. His current position deserves to be applauded for many reasons, especially considering the fact that the time he landed in Malayalam cinema, wasn’t the best phase in which a debutant could leave behind a mark. Into Dulquer Salmaan, the star has already shed off the image of being the son of Megastar Mammootty. Already created a fan base of his own during such a short span of time, DQ has leapfrogged all of his contemporaries and many of his past generation stars, in terms of star power. However, what does Prithvi thinks about DQ’s success?
During a recent interview, Prithvi noted that he had cracked the code of success of Dulquer. Prithvi stated that DQ was capable of doing action roles with ease. Well, no big star has born in any film industry, without being capable of pulling off an action film. That said, Prithvi himself has started off his career as an action hero. In fact, he was the best and only choice, which Malayalam film industry had during a significant period of time. However, can any actor sustain in the industry, only with action oriented roles? No. Prithvi continued saying that DQ was equally at ease in romantic avatars as well. Now, that is something, which you find difficult to manage on screen. Becoming a romantic hero demands, you to have a certain level of flexibility and boy – next – door image.
In short, Prithvi commented that Dulquer was a complete package for any filmmaker – be it action oriented roles or those of romantic ones. Prithviraj went onto further comment that DQ would continue growing as a star and wished all the best for the star in the coming days. Certainly, this has made the fans of DQ quite happy. Though the star doesn’t have a single release this year – barring the one for December – he still is there in limelight!
