RS Vimal directing ‘Mahavir Karna’ is considered one of the most anticipated projects going to happen in the near future. The movie, which was initially planned with Prithviraj, however on a later stage, has finalized Vikram appearing as the titular character. Reportedly, the movie has already started the pre production procedures in Ramoji Rao Film City. Backed by a huge budget of INR 300 Cr, ‘Mahavir Karna’ would be made as a bi-lingual project in Tamil and Hindi. That said, while Vikram would be essaying the role of Karna, not much is known about the rest of the characters. Though reports suggests of even Hollywood stars being present in it, nothing is confirmed as of now. Nevertheless, we have some insider reports suggesting that Indrans would be part of ‘Mahavir Karnan’.
Reported by the close sources with the project, the award winning actor would have an important role in the project. When contacted, makers were reluctant to share much about the character of Indrans. They are making all the necessary arrangements to keep everything under the blanket. The script work is already completed; while Jayamohan and Suresh Nair would respectively pen the Tamil and Hindi lines of the project. As is the case with this highly anticipated flick, we are not in a position to guess the role reserved for Indrans. Anyhow, it is been said that his character would have a decent screen space and thereby allowing him to showcase his acting talent.
Apart from the two stars, which we mentioned above, ‘Mahavir Karna’ is yet to get a shape about the star cast. Since the movie is riding on a high budget, it will surely have some of the best names associated with it. It is widely reported that RS Vimal will kick start the production by the month of October this year. Apart from the film city, the movie will also have Jaipur, Canada and to name the rest as its principal locations.
