Marking an all round performance from Raghava Lawrence, Kanchana 3 has managed to pull audience in large numbers, resulting in a huge box office number. Released on April 19th, the first weekend collection of the movie from Chennai box office stands at INR 2.6 Cr. The amount has managed to make the movie amongst the few ones, to have scored this much in the opening weekend from Chennai box office this year.
The other three projects, that have managed to pull audience this much from Chennai box office this year are, Petta, Viswasam and Captain Marvel. The movie is also performing well across the state as well as neighbouring states as well. Reports suggest that the first weekend domestic box office collection of this Lawrence movie has surpassed those of this year’s biggest hits so far – Petta and Viswasam.
