Karthi turns down bilingual movie reports
Karthi is reviving his career with some promising movies, off late. Well, his ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ was the best example for the actor’s changed attitude towards films. The movie, besides getting noticed for its raw narration, also brought acclaims for Karthi’s performance. Karthi’s upcoming project ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ too is been watched with much an interest by the industry. All done with the production procedures, this Pandiraj directorial is in the post production stage. However, the actor’s name was heard in association with a number of projects. One such is the bilingual project of Ravi Udugala. Well, it seems like Karthi has got a different tale to narrate.
It was widely believed that Karthi had given nod for the project. Fans of Karthi were riding high on joy, when they heard the actor joining with Ravi Udugala, who is fresh from the success of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’. After all, who doesn’t want to associate with a hit maker, after all? When inquired about the bilingual project, Karthi turned down the reports, which claim that the actor had signed in the project. The reports suggested that director Ravi Udugala has narrated the script to Karthi. The actor maintained that no one had approached him with such a script. With Karthi turning down the reports, the widely speculated news report has come to an end. Meanwhile, close reports to him said that, the actor was in no hurry to sign in films. He has also not committed any new project, other than the already signed in ones.
Meanwhile, Karthi’s immediate project scheduled to start production, is been tentatively titled as ‘Karthi 17’. The movie was all set to start shooting earlier this month itself. However, with the strike been declared in Kollywood, the makers of ‘Karthi 17’ changed their plans. That said, once the strike been called off, ‘Karthi 17’ would start shooting. Under the direction of debutant Rajath Ravishankar, the movie has got Rakul Preet Singh pairing opposite to Karthi.
