Finally the wait movie buffs in the town is coming to an end, as the teaser of Megastar Mammootty starrer ‘Mamankam’ is all set to make a grand entry tomorrow. A period war drama, ‘Mamankam’ is been directed by M Padmakumar, while Shankar Ramakrishnan has penned the script. Marking the erection of one of the largest sets in Malayalam movie industry, this mega budget movie has got an illustrious list of star cast members, which includes Unni Mukundan, Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna and to name the rest.
Under the banner of ‘Kavya Film Company’, Venu Kunnappally produces the project. M Jayachandran has given music for this mega budgeted flick. The movie has been shot extensively across Kochi, Kannur, Ottappalam and Wagamon. Earlier, the movie had been entangled with controversies, as the original director of the movie, Sajeev Pillai – who had also penned the project – was blue penciled by the producer, owing to difference in opinions.
