Superstar Mohanlal is all set to begin a new and journey. Announcing that he would direct a movie, titled Barroz, the star has enthralled the film industry. Set as a 3D movie, it is based on the story of Navodaya Jiju (director of My Dear Kuttichathan), ‘Barroz – Guardian of D’ Gama’s Treasure’ – the movie will soon start shooting in and around Goa. While informing the news, Mohanlal maintained that the project involves a huge budget, and he is in search of artists.
Essentially a mythic story, the movie deals with the character of ‘Barroz’, who is in charge of the belongings of Vasco Da Gama, is looking for the right heir of the Portuguese sailor, to hand them over to. Interestingly, it is Mohanlal, himself, who would be appearing as the title character. The story of the movie takes a ‘U’ turn, upon the entry of a young boy. As maintained by the star, he is looking for the right cast members, which includes a number of foreign artists, including the boy’s character. While informing the news, the star has also maintained that the movie would be conceived as a series. As was mentioned by the star, it is really going to be an exciting journey for him, who has been in the acting business for more than four decades.
