Ambika is one such an actress, who was amongst the most preferred names across South Indian film industries during the late seventies and eighties. Well, the actress, who is still active in Tamil film – cine world, came across her reluctance in doing more projects in Malayalam. Giving interview to a leading media portal, the actress commented that it was not her decision, that made her away to Malayalam film world.
She opined that Malayalam filmmakers haven’t tried ringing a bell to invite her for new projects. She however maintained that many consider her to be living abroad – a reason, which she thinks to be the prime reason behind her absence from Mollywood. That said, Ambika has expressed her wish to be active in Malayalam film industry. It was in She Taxi, which saw Ambika in a Malayalam movie last time.
