Rajinikanth’s Kaala got 14 cuts and U/A certificate

Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated flick ‘Kaala’ has been awarded a U/A certificate. This is probably after a long time, which a Rajinikanth film has earned a certificate other than ‘U’. The censor board, in the process of awarding U/A certificate, has asked makers for as many as 14 cuts. With the censoring procedures are all over with ‘Kaala’, the movie is ready to brace the screens on April 27. However, we are not in a position to state right away a sound release date for the movie. The ongoing strike in Tamil Nadu, has got all the armours in its kitty to postpone this superstar flick.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, the political thriller ‘Kaala’ is widely believed to be one of the last films of superstar Rajinikanth. With the superstar officially announcing his entry to politics, it has to be seen, whether he would continue with filmy affairs or not. Though started much earlier than ‘Kaala’, superstar’s mega project ‘Robo 2.0’ is yet to get a final shape. This Shankar directorial is still progressing the production procedures, while the post production procedures are moving in tandem with production. Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Kaala’ got released amidst to much curiosity. The movie, as was analyzed by many, is reported to have a definite politics in it. Movie buffs are eagerly awaiting to see how the movie connects with the fans (followers) of the superstar.

However, for that matter, we have to wait until the makers come with an official statement regarding the release date. With producers, Lyca Productions stating that they would comply with the Producers Council, ‘Kaala’ might wait you further. Besides Rajinikanth, ‘Kaala’ stars Samuthirakani, Nana Patekar Huma Qureshi, Eswari Rao, Anjali Patil and Sukanya in other important roles. Santhosh Narayan is in charge of composing music; Murali G was roped in by the makers to head cinematography department.
