Ramesh Pisharody was excited directing Megastar Mammootty in his directorial venture ‘Ganagandharvan’. While sharing his experience of approaching the star, Ramesh Pisharody maintained that he was eager to present Mammootty in a different avatar. While speaking with a leading media house, in which he was accompanied by Mammootty, the director maintained that movie has got no connection with the ‘Ganagandharvan’ of Kerala – Yesudas.
Ramesh Pisharody however made it clear that, the movie features the star in the role of a struggling singer and his fight for survival. Co written by Ramesh Pisharody and Hari P Nair, ‘Ganagandharvan’ features debutant Vanditha in the lead role along with the megastar, while Mukesh, Innocent, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Dharmmajan and to name the rest, appears in other important roles.
