Resul Pookutty has come up with an open statement, wherein he expressed his sadness of over the happenings around the movie ‘Mamankam’. While speaking on the controversies that surround the movie, the Oscar winning sound designer commented that he has been hearing so many negative reports coming from various corners. It was while speaking about the alleged threat that was raised against the movie’s director Sajeev Pillai that Resul Pookutty has taken twitter space to express his unhappiness over the project.
It was some days before, which director Sajeev Pillai commented that there was a group of people that came to threaten him and asked to leave the project. He has gone onto comment that he suspects of facing physical violence in the coming days. Written by himself, Sajeev Pillai has successfully completed the first two schedules of ‘Mamankam’, while it is M Padmakumar, who is directing the third schedule of the project. Megastar Mammootty starrer ‘Mamankam’ is undergoing through some tough times these days, controversies tarnishing the public image of project. Earlier, young actor Dhruv’s forceful exit from the movie had gone onto grab headlines.
