Ever since Ram Charan – Samantha jodi’s ‘Rangasthalam’ got released, there was no rest for box office. The movie has generated significant buzz in the industry and has reflected the same in the box office performance of the project. Well, Ram Charan has managed to receive unanimous applause for his performance in the project and is so far been rated as his best performance till date. Meanwhile, there was a serious discussion amongst the filmgoers in Tollywood over a particular sequence in the movie. It was the ‘lip-lock’ sequence between Ram Charan and Samantha, which caught everyone’s attention. Though the particular sequence has come out well, Tollywood was shocked seeing Samantha going for a liplock. Since she has received numerous queries regarding the particular sequence, the actress has come out giving an official explanation over the same.
Soon after returning from a tour from the US, the actress was flooded with queries regarding the sequence. Everyone was eager to know why she had gone for that even after marriage. Well, the actress questioned back journalists about their discriminatory mentality and she has got a point – “Why don’t you ask the same to married actors”. However, she eased out the session by herself and hasn’t gone out for making it a serious one. Samantha made it clear that the lip lock wasn’t a real one. She said that she had just kissed Ram Charan on his cheek. Later, it was the camera works, which cheated the audience. Samantha further added that the profession of acting demands, artists to perform according to the need of the script. However, the newlywed diva of Tollywood maintained that she was fully convinced on the particular lip lock scene.
Her statements have got what the media wanted. The actress has conveyed a strong message amidst all these hullabaloos. Stressing more importance on content of the film, Samantha went onto rate the ‘lip lock’ as one of the best scenes of the entire film.
