The ‘Alorukkam’ director’s comments however has prompted the ‘S Durga’ director to rethink his opinion.
Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, in his latest facebook post, has come up with an apologizing remark over what he had said earlier. During the post, he said that it was a mistake happened from his side and he had never meant to belittle the performance of Indrans. He was of the opinion that an actor like Indrans had chances of winning the award last year itself. Emphasizing the point that it was an avoidable comment, which he had uttered during the other day, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan further clarified that there were not many good people out there in the industry like Indrans. Anyways, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s apologizing remark is sure to pacify the ones associated with ‘Alorukkam’. Earlier, director VC Abhilash lashed out the stance of Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and questioned the authority of Sanal Kumar Sasidharan in evaluating the performance of Indrans. He requested Sanal Kumar Sasidharan to watch the movie ‘Alorukkam’, before making such baseless comments.
Well, during the interview given to a prominent media house, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan had opined that the award given to Indrans this year was purely meant to give mileage to certain political ideologies. It was the particular statement against Indrans being given best actor’s award this year, which invited widespread criticism.
