The Supreme Court has gone onto put a stay on the proceedings of the actress abduction case. It was while considering the petition filed by Dileep on handing over the ‘Memory Card’, which the apex court had taken the stance. SC has also assured of considering the case after the summer vacation. The petition filed by Dileep had requested the SC to consider the ‘Memory Card’ as a document of the case, rather than mainour.
During the hearing process, the state government had asked for more time from SC, in deciding the status of the ‘Memory Card’. Now with the SC order, all the proceedings including filing of the charge sheet would now be stayed. The High Court order of competing the case hearing process within six months of time, too has been stayed, on the wake of the SC order.
