Sexual abuse in films is such a big issue these days, as a number of artists have come forward sharing their experience. Starting from Hollywood, even the regional film industries have got a number of similar issues being reported. It is into such a scenario, which Rakul Preet Singh commented that Telugu film industry has got no such issues. Soon then, her comments were slammed by actresses Sri Reddy and Madhavi Latha. Sri Reddy, even threatened that she would divulge the name of film personalities, who abused her. Tollywood got stunned, when Sri Reddy said that she was sexually abused by none other than Sekhar Kammula. And Tollywood is on the verge of yet another debacle.
Though Sri hadn’t mentioned Sekhar Kammula directly, her facebook post was enough for everyone to guess him. It was a shocking moment for the film industry and Sekhar Kammula spared no time to hit back at Sri. He has taken twitter and maintained that if she continues making such remarks, he would be taking proper legal actions. While mentioning about the same, Sekhar said that the social media post contained some highly reprehending comments against him. He stated that the social media post caused great grief for his family. The top director added that he had always treated women with respect and won’t tolerate his name being dragged into such allegations. He asked the person behind all these rumours to apologize, if s/he doesn’t want to end up in legal tangles.

Soon then came Sri Reddy’s reply comment. She dared him to take legal actions, whatever it maybe. Mentioning that she would never bow down before ‘money power’, Sri Reddy further added that she has got solid evidences to back her statement. Now, that has landed Tollywood in yet another nasty war of words between two known figures. It has to be seen, whether Sekhar Kammula would be proceeding with a legal note or not. Coming days are going to be really crucial for Tollywood.
