The most sensational CBI crime series in malayalam is planning to get back on the big screen with that iconic background score. Megastar Mammooty’s evergreen hit character Sethurama Iyer, the CBI officer on investigation who solves his cases with brains had always been an ultimate amazement for malayali crime thriller fans.
Reports about the happening of a fifth part had been going on for past 3 years is finally marked to be true. Director K Madhu had earlier hinted that scripting is on process which assures that we could have a fifth part in near future.
Every parts before was also scripted by S N Swami and directed by K.Madhu.The 1988 movie, Our CBI diary kuruppu had done extremely well on theatres which made them do the second part Jagratha which unfortunately didnot clicked the box office . After 15 years, the same trio Mammooty-K Madhu-SN Swamy once again teamed up to make the biggest hit of 2004- Sethurama Iyer CBI. The grant success made them make the fourth part Nerariyan CBI in the very next year which too became a success . This bring such great expectation for the next movie
This movie would definitely not have any scope for romance just as the previous movies.There is no heroine casted for this part too. Actor Ranji Panikar is said to playing an prominent role along with Megastar Mammooty. Actors Mukesh and Jagathy sreekumar who had played significant roles in previous part wouldn’t appear in this part.
