With Telugu actress Sri Reddy being the center of attraction in Tollywood over her alleged sex scandal leaks, we are in the midst of witnessing yet another celebrity being dragged into the issue. Earlier, when the actress accused Sekhar Kammula and Abhiram Daggubati for sexually assaulting her, Tollywood got panicked. Those were the moments of frenzy in Telugu film world. However, the actress seems not going to stop with all these. She has come up with yet another top name and leaked the screenshots of the chats conducted with the person. None other than Kona Venkat has come under the lens of Sri Reddy. Right now the Whatsapp conversation between Kona Venkat and Sri Reddy is making waves in social media corners. However, the writer has hit back at Sri Reddy, stating that he would move ahead with legal actions.

The leaked screenshots of chats evidently mentioned the writer’s name. The chats were all conducted one and half years ago. Soon when his name was dragged into the issue, Kona Venkat has taken the twitter space to express her anger over the same. He said that he was shocked hearing the allegations against him. During the tweet, he requested the govt. to conduct a proper investigation on these allegations. He turned down the accusations of Sri Reddy, that filmmakers in Tollywood promote other language girls in films. Demanding strong actions be taken against those who make false claims, Kona Venkat was hinting of taking legal actions against the actress. In a series of tweets, Kona Venkat made it clear that he had always supported fresh talents in the industry. Making it clear that, though he supports regional talent, he however highly condemns actions such as those sex accusations.
It’s really pity that film industry and film personalities have become soft target to many people who are trying to gain cheap publicity… I definitely support taking Telugu artists in our films.. In Geethanjali u find only Telugu artists. But this is unacceptable. I condemn it.

Though there were complaints from several corners regarding incidents of casting couch in Telugu cinema, it was with the entry of Sri Reddy, which the issue got much attention. Sri Reddy, in making claims that she was sexually exploited in return for roles in films, is creating frenzy in the town.
