The day has finally arrived for the official announcement from director SS Rajamouli regarding the release of his next project. Titled RRR, the movie is gearing up for release on July 30, 2020. Starring two huge stars – Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in prime roles, RRR is reportedly being made on a massive budget of INR 350 – 400 Cr. It is DVV Danayya, who bankrolls the project.
While announcing the release date, well in advance, makers of RRR have also made it clear that, the actors have all undergone acting workshops, in order to ensure that they were moulded to fit into the characters. Set against a fictitious backdrop of 1920s, the movie roams around the lives of two legendary freedom fighters – Alluru Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan plays the role of the former, while it is Jr. NTR, who gives life to the latter.
