“There is no need for making Jallikattu a lengthy movie”, Lijo Jose Pellissery

Lijo Jose Pellissery is taking Mollywood to new heights with the maverick director’s ‘Jallikattu becoming the center of attraction amongst the movie buffs across the world. Having won thunderous applauses elsewhere, the movie has finally made its presence felt across theatres in Kerala. Well, the movie was opened to stupendous reports, with Lijo being crowned as the torchbearer of Malayalam movies.

When encountered with reporters, who asked about the movie, and particularly about the running time of the project, Lijo maintained that, the movie couldn’t have afforded more than one and half hours of runtime. Stating that, he had the idea of the movie even before ‘Angamali Diaries’
