Being a star’s wife is not an easy task, says Upasana Ram Charan. Upasana, though prefers a low profile appearance, however is not able to get away from the zooming lenses of media – thanks to her entry to the Mega family. However, what makes Upasana different from many other star wives, is her success in making a career for herself. Upasana is the Vice Chairperson of Apollo Foundation, and is the MD of Apollo Life. It was while commenting on her celebrity status, which Upasana made the above mentioned sentence. Well, what makes her celebrity life problematic? How is she managing the pressure?
Upasana maintained that being a star wife gives one huge responsibilities and the burden of keeping the family going on. According to her, switching between the family affairs and her professional career, gives her extra burden of managing both in good manner. She said that she always needed to ensure that her husband’s career goes in a smooth fashion. Upasana commented that she tries not giving too much tension for her husband. However, she said that juggling between these two jobs make her proud. Adding that at the end of a day, what keeps her going is the fulfillment received from completing the jobs – both personal and professional – Upasana maintained that at times, she goes exhausted.
Seeking a perfect balance between work and life is itself a tough job. But, when one attains a celebrity status, then things are even harder for them to manage many affairs, such as keeping the public image. When quizzed about her toughest part of life, Upasana made it clear that it was the first year of marriage, which proved to be the toughest of all. Finally how would she define herself – on personal front? Well, Upasana defines herself as an extremely shy girl. So, for her, it takes time to get acquainted with others.
