Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Lucifer has gone onto become the second movie from Malayalam film industry to cross the magical figure of INR 100 Cr at the box office. Incidentally, this Prithviraj directorial is also the fastest movie from Malayalam to cross the feat, beating Pulimurugan by a big margin. The project was unique in many aspects, with a story that has got a universal value and also due to the presence of a number of stars, who boast pan – Indian appeal. Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi, who handled the main villain role of ‘Bobby’ in the movie, has come forward sharing his astonishment at the box office riot of Lucifer.
The star shared his astonishment over the project recording such huge numbers at the box office, especially considering the size of the state of Kerala. He has also praised the industry for being so co operative – a quality, which he wanted Bollywood to emulate. That said, Vivek Oberoi also added that he wouldn’t mind accepting more offers from the team of Lucifer.
