About Kamal Hassan :
Kamal Hassan in an Indian film actor, director, producer, lyricist, singer, writer and choreographer who works in south Indian films. He started his career as a child artist in 1959 at the age of 4 through the film ‘Kalathur Kannamma’, for which he won Gold Medal from President of India. In 1960’s he acted 5 films as child artist including Malayalam film ‘Kannum Karalum’. He appeared in uncredited and supporting roles in many films during the first quarter of 1970’s. His first serious role was through in the film ‘ Aval Oru Thodar Kathai’, directed by K. Balachander in 1974.Since then he acted over 200 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Bengali languages. As singer he lend his voice for over 65 songs and as a producer he produced over 20 films.
