Staring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, ‘Dev’ has been awarded a clean ‘U’ certificate by the censor board. Makers have also announced the release date of the project – February 14th. Falling on the Valentine’s Day, this romantic entertainer is been produced Lakshman under the banner of ‘Prince Pictures’. Director Rajat Ravishankar, when asked, maintained that the project would find takers amongst adventure lovers.
Karthi is expecting to continue his hit streak, which includes the likes of ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ and ‘Kadai Kutty Singam’. Also, ‘Dev’ marks the second collaboration between Karthi and Rakul Preet, after ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’. ‘Dev’ stars Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, VJ Vignesh and Amrutha Srinivasan in other important roles. It is also been reported that Karthik would be appearing in a cameo avatar for this Karthi starrer.
