When Vasu Dev Bhaskar was writing the script of Palli Paruvathilae, the inspiration for the story came from his own life. A film that delves into the relationship of a father and son, along with a message on choosing the right time to love forms the crux. Elaborating about it, Vasu says, “I come from a village called Ambalapattu, located in Orathanadu, Thanjavur district. When I was studying, there used to be a head master by the name HM Sarangan, who created a revolution of sorts in that tiny village.
