Vijay starrer Mersal has already turned out to be the biggest blockbuster in Tamil film industry in 2017 and itās also one of the highest grossing Tamil films of all time with a total gross of Rs 225 crores so far. The Tamil version, which released on October 18, faced numerous hurdles prior to its release. And then, post release, the film was in news for its references to GST, which made headlines across the country. Despite all this, the film went on to become the biggest hit of the year and now, itās all set to take the two Telugu speaking states by storm on November 9.
