Actress Abduction: Vidhu Vincent bashes out government

With the Supreme Court issuing a stay order on the proceedings of the actress abduction case, a number of people have come forward criticizing the elongated procedures of the law. Noted director Vidhu Vincent has come forward against the state government with some strong words. Taking social media spaces, the actress questioned the stance of the government’s standing council at the Supreme Court.

With the state government unable to position the status of the ‘Memory Card’ – whether to place it under the category of documents of the case or to consider it as a ‘Mainour’ – SC has put a hold on the proceedings of the case, which is to be resumed after the Summer Vacation. It was this stance of the government, which prompted Vidhu Vincent to question the very establishments of institutions of law.
