Lucifer enters 150 Cr club

The release of Lucifer was definitely a defining moment in the history of Malayalam cinema. Meeting with a great response from all the releasing centers, this Prithviraj directorial has already gone onto become the highest grossing Malayalam movie, second only to the mighty Pulimurugan. Well, the movie is preparing to rejig its position as it entered the 150 Cr club. The feat, which was only achieved by Pulimurugan previously, also made Lucifer one of the best performed South Indian movies released in this year. Officially announced by the makers, the 150 Cr is the combined amount, which the movie had made from its theatrical run and the other businesses.

Most trackers maintain that this Mohanlal starrer has earned around INR 120 Cr by the end of its 23^rd day at box office. Making strides at the box office, Lucifer has also opened the international avenues for Malayalam cinema. It has also gone onto become the highest grossing Malayalam movie in the overseas markets.
