Ranjith Shankar to direct Aju Varghese in ‘Kamala’

Ranjith Shankar and Aju Varghese have formed a strong bond over the years, thanks to their long standing friendship, over the course of six movies. Ranjith Shankar is all set to wield the megaphone, while Aju will be performing in front of the camera. That said, titled ‘Kamala’, the project will see Aju essaying the lead role, with the events happening within a time span of 36 hours forming the backdrop of the story.

Speaking about the project, Ranjith Shankar maintained that he had a tough time in deciding the lead actor for ‘Kamala’. Having tried and tested the faces of several young stars from the industry in his mind, that Ranjith Shankar zeroed in on Aju. Expressing his happiness, Aju has taken social media corners and requested people to bless the project of ‘Kamala’.
