Well, the decision of Innocent is believed to have many reasons behind it, which are being discussed by the media.
While facing the queries of journalists, Innocent MP made it clear that he had already discussed the issue with those of the fellow members of AMMA. He further commented that it was over the insistence of the members, which he pushed his decision this far. Innocent informed that he had strongly pleaded before the association for not considering his name for the post – during all the four previous occasions, in which he was eventually elected unopposed. Due to the tremendous pressure from the organization, he was forced to continue in the post. Albeit deciding to step down from the post of the president, Innocent MP made it clear that he would continue being part of the association.
The current term of Innocent is all set to be finished by the coming June. Following then, the general body will convene on July this year. It is believed that Innocent would discuss his decision on the upcoming general body meeting.
