It is already known that Santhanam would next be seen in the movie of debutant director Johnson. Well, now the movie has got a title. Titled ‘A1’, the project is said to be a satiric entertainer. Set against the backdrop of northern part of Madras, ‘A1’, in the words of Johnson, is a blend of romcom and black humour. When inquired, the debutant director maintained that movie would be relying more on situational comedy and would be a different experience for the audience.
Hailing from north Madras, Santhanam’s character is reportedly named Saravanan, and been fondly called Saro by his friends. ‘A1’ will see Santhanam paired opposite to Tara Alisha Berry, whose character would present a typical agraharam girl. That said, the title of ‘A1’ has got some significance, as Johnson commented that it has got an important connection with the theme of the movie.
